Lief's 1st Christmas & Altered Cigar Box ****Maja Design***Plus GiveAway****

Hello,I am here to share with you a LO I did combining a few collections & a Altered Cigar Box....
I am sorry but this is not showing the right color,this is way to gold,it is showing right on my photos, but not my blog post. You will see the right color as you go through the closeups of detail....

 I used Dusty Attics December Sketch.....


I used papers from 5 different collections......

From the Life by the Sea Collection I used Bottle Message,Sailing, the East Coast & islands and skerries-BS
From this collection I used Julbak, Julbak_BS, Goder afton-BS, Karamellstrut-BS,.... I also used the die cut sheet from Vintage Winter & Virkad strmpa -BS, from Frojdefull Jul,& the Days of December-BS,sheet from Vintage frost Basics

I did some distressed, stitched layers & some stencil work using Prima 6x6 stencil,static & texture effects.

On the hearts boarder,banners & stars I used MS texture effects,sprinkled on some TH rock candy glitter while the effects was still wet. Once that dried I glued on some white micro beads.....
On the alpha & bird of paradise I used red pepper ink. On the bird of paradise I also added a coat of rock candy stickles & sprinkled on some rock candy glitter while the stickles was still wet.....
I cut out pieces of paper, I was working with to cover the hearts,then applied rock candy stickles....

I also used the outside part of the large film strip,on this LO....

I used the Vintage Summer Basics Collection on this....
From the Vintage Summer Basics I used: 1932,1932-BS,1905 &1891

Here are a couple closeups of detail...

I covered the box with the Maja papers,then applied a coat of rock candy crackle. I used pitch black ink on the black pieces,then applied black gold tattered angles. Once that dried I rubbed on some Viva gold.On the lighter pieces I used Viva modeling cream,champagne. My flowers centers were old cloth brads that I painted metallic gold,then glued on jump rings,seed beads,ect....

AND I love the altered cigar box - it is so hard to believe it was just a plain box and now it is glorified!!!
